This book contains a collection pf photos of purebred in hand champions at the Arab Horse Society's annual show between 1953-1992. It will appeal to owners , breeders and Arabian horse fanciers. In the early years the most influencial breeders were still in the forefront--Lady Wentworth- Crabbet Arabian Stud, Miss Gladys Yule at Hanstead and Bill Musgrave at Courthouse. After the dispersal of Crabbet and Hanstead, and the importation of influencial animals from Poland, Russia, Spain and the United States, it is interesting and educational to compare the later horses to the earlier horses and see the fashion in Arabian horses change. Its also facinating to note the persistance of some characteristics generation after generation in some families.
